What is Quilling?

Quilling is a decorative art form that involves rolling, shaping, and gluing narrow strips of paper into intricate designs. Also known as paper filigree, it dates back to the Renaissance, when it was used to decorate religious items. Today, it's a popular and accessible craft.
To quill, artists use a slotted tool or toothpick to roll paper strips into coils, which are then shaped into forms like teardrops, scrolls, or spirals. These shapes are glued together to create images, patterns, or even 3D objects.
